Over one million Toyota Prius sold

It’s been eleven years since Toyota first introduced the Prius to the market, it was a bit of fun back then, but they have now past the one million car mark, which is a milestone by any car maker’s standards let alone the world first real eco car.

Out of this huge amount of one million cars, a massive 600,000 have been sold during the last three years alone, which is some doing even for the mighty Toyota motor company.

But the main thing about a green car is the fact that it saves fuel and in turn is good for the planet in the long run.

In this short time, it has been estimated that all of these cars have prevented around 4.5 million tons of Co2, which it should be known is the equivalent of around 535,500,000 gallons of fuel, which could be valued at over $2 billion.
