What dangers lie in processed foods?
When you take a trip around the supermarket you will notice that the fresh foods are being squashed down into smaller spaces, while in the rest of the supermarket the shelves are full of processed foods.
This trend is said to follow the buying habits of the general public, but it is in fact a combination of the two, if the supermarkets did not offer so many different types of the same foods and offered more healthy options at competitive prices would the dietary habits of the world change?
Probably not, for time is another factor. People want quick and easy food these days; this is the demand to which the supermarkets are providing for. But there are some things that can be done to make processed food healthy, avoid the items below:
TRANS FATS
REFINED GRAINS
SALT
HIGH-FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP
