Saving money in the kitchen

Eating healthy and saving do not often go together, but in this case they really do, however the diet that is produced through the money saving ideas that have been placed below come from My Paleo Kitchen, these seem to be following more of a semi survivalist plan, which is ok if you are that way inclined, by for us townies can sometimes be a little too much to handle.

If you’re going to freeze it, buy it frozen

You kill it, you eat it

Go lean

Organic & grass fed/finished?

Shop often, preferably at least every other day

Keep your pantry and recipe book well stocked

Go to the market at closing time

Worry about saving big, and not so much about saving small

Consider whether you’re actually saving money

Don’t eat so many fruits, berries and nuts

Of course we can pick out the ones that suit us best, but this would seem to defeat the object somewhat. I think that the only one that is questionable is the second one!
