Early MacBook goes on sale

There is one thing about the online auction site eBay and that is you can buy almost anything on it, but one unusual item has appeared for sale, an Apple MacBook Air prototype, listed on the auction under the guide condition of “As is” it was eventually sold for $730.

But this equipment was only ever meant to be for internal use only, but somehow it has managed to get of the Apple campus and end up in a computer repair shop called iTech Systems in California, they happen to specialise in repairing old and broken computers.

The computer itself is said to have had a broken hinge and various marks on the outer casing. There is no doubt that an Apple prototype is extremely rare and of course, Apple might be interested in finding out how it came to be outside of the company.
