Beatles and Apple Store not happening, yet

Fans of the Beatles were expecting to being able to download their favourite tracks from the Apple iTunes store as the deal seemed to be going ahead with no problems, but now that seems to have all changed.

The deal or possible no deal is now virtually nonexistent as the two sides fail to reach a final agreement about the distribution of Beatles material through the online store.

Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is said to be the force behind getting the music online, but it is a dispute between the record company EMI and Apple where the problems are lying.

The official word is that the talks have stalled, for what reason it is not known other than the fact that Apple say, EMI’s demands are too much for Apple, although all parties believe a deal will happen, it is not known when.
