High St cleaner finds cash

Imagine this, a street cleaner going about his daily business, maybe he was working in the high st, checking out all of the bargains in the store windows, when he reaches one of the litter bins that he has to empty this is a normal day for him up until this point.

This is because after emptying the bin he found a bag that seemed to be full of something. Obviously, he could not just put a full bag in with the other rubbish that he had already collected, so he had to take a little look to make sure it was safe, it turned out to be shredded paper.

However, this was not any ordinary paper, it was cash! The bag is estimated to contained £10,000 and the brilliant thing for him is that he can keep it as it has been confirmed that the money was not stolen.

There is only one problem, the Bank of England will exchange the shredded cash for new notes, but only if he puts them altogether first, a task which could take anything up to four months, which is still not bad for nothing.
