Will Apple be able to beat Sony and Nintendo?

Apple has been diversifying their product range for a very long time and they have seen some serious success rates like that with the iPod, iPhone and other products too.

However, the games market has eluded them until recently that are, there has been a huge range of applications on the Apple Store website, and in fact, it has been an estimated seventy per cent of the applications are actually games.

Nevertheless, can they really take on the likes of Sony and Nintendo?

Apple have the device, iTouch and iPhone these devices by far outnumber the amount of other handheld devices capable of playing games such as the DS and PSP. The trouble for Apple is the cost; their devices are directed at adults and therefore have an adult price tag.
