Brits shopping for foods they do not like

In a quest for a healthy life style, many people in the UK are forcing themselves to go out shopping for foods that they really do not like simply because they are taking notice of the claims that these foods are the healthy option.

Millions of people are trawling the supermarket shelves for liver, marmite, lentils and oily fish even though according to a recent survey of shoppers that they do not like the tastes of these foods, but they are interested in the health benefits.

It has been estimated that some people are eating around four thousand portions of these food throughout their lifetime, around a third of shoppers are forcing themselves to eat foods that they can just about keep down, simple because they believe it will improve their health.
