A stores dream, bacon aroma

If there is one smell that could even turn the strictest of vegetarians into a meat eater, even if it is only for a few seconds, it is the smell of bacon.

It is the smell that stops people in their tracks and there is a good reason for it. It seems that there is a complex chemical reaction that occurs between the amino acids and sugars as the meat is cooked the crispier the bacon the more intense the reaction.

Now armed with this knowledge it would not be unreasonable to think that the supermarket chains are currently thinking up ways to incorporate this aroma into the store somehow. Or maybe they do already most stores have restaurant as you enter and come to think of it there is that smoky bacon smell too.
