US Government fails to get records off of Amazon

We have heard a lot about the various governments that attempt to gain information from the various online websites where the ordinary person can sell products and hopefully make some money in the process.

But the governments of the world want their cut of the profits and so in an attempt to find out how much money people are making the authorities try to gain details from the companies involved.

Like this case that involved a US citizen who was reported for not paying taxes, the IRS went to court to make Amazon reveal the business transactions of the defendant, but the Judge threw the case out, a victory for the small guys!
